The coffee winner so far

I mentioned awhile ago that I was mostly unsuccessfully trying to like coffee, and that Hawaiian Kona coffee had been good, but that it wasn't easy to find around here.

Enter this Christmas present from Tom:

Yes, it's instant, but it's Kona coffee! And it's true -- the Kona is really good! It's amazing how different it tastes than the other coffees I've had. So much nicer. I mean, some of the brews that the ubiquitous coffee chain places serve ... seriously, my main reaction to them was, "You can't be serious."

But the Kona coffee is the winner for now.

I wish I could get my hands on these around here.

Yes, that says "Prawn cocktail flavor". But they're really good, I swear! They're a salty, ricy, melt-in-your-mouth, sorta-tangy chip-like thing. I can't think of anything else to compare them to. Whenever we go to the UK, I always bring as much of these home as will reasonably fit in my bag.

I'm almost out of the ones we brought back in January! Such tragedy ...

Bet I could fit under there ...

... but I didn't try.



Maybe I couldn't have quite fit anyway. We'll never know ...
