We'd read about it on another blog as having the world's best burgers (or something like that). Tom was intrigued, and we were both up for an adventure.
It's a cool little place, actually. Tom got and very much enjoyed a cheeseburger; my meal did not involve hamburger but it was very tasty as well.
But what really struck me about the place was how this little brick building was completely surrounded by skyscrapers and shiny office buildings. It really looked out of place, this two-story, hundred-year-old building minding its own business when all these alien obelisks fell out of the sky and slammed down next to it.
I love crazy contrasts like that. Plus it was a friendly place that served me Coke in a little glass bottle.
It was fun.
