Tom and I had a walk around Great Meadows last weekend, and the red-winged blackbirds love that place. The males were everywhere, chirping and singing and showing everyone how pretty they are.
This guy flirted with me for a few minutes.
Look at me!!
Show off.
They're very fun birds to watch.
We walked around the edge of the water looking for critters.
Bus walking is a technique for catching a bus that involves walking the bus route while glancing over your shoulder between stops to see if the bus is coming. If it is, run for the next bus stop. If not, keep walking.
This technique leads to a lot of pleasant walks with occasional missed buses.
