Troll Bridge was only silly, however -- just a plank over a shallow little dip. Would have to be a tiny troll hiding under it.
We liked the look of this bridge much better.

There were lots of critters to be seen, and it was an exceptionally nice day out.
There were a lot of happy birds of all different sizes and colors. It was great to just stand still and watch for a few minutes and see who flew by.
I recommend the place.

My kids used to attend nature programs at Habitat. The upper meadow also provides somewhat reasonable viewing conditions for things like meteor showers (though it's still close enough to Boston to suffer from a lot of light pollution).
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of Belmont's gems.
