Tom's birthday was yesterday!

Our household tradition is that the birthday boy/girl gets their presents in the morning in bed.



Of course, Tom wakes up ages before I do, but we make it work.

The show he's in right now had a matinee on his birthday, but I still got to take him to brunch beforehand and dinner afterward. Oh, and pick up his cake.


A few people at the bakery and on the bus had a good laugh at this but Tom took it all in stride.

And now we have cake!
